This is the best asparagus recipe that Kiera has ever had and a great way to celebrate Asparagus Month. This recipe is super easy and in season.
Asparagus Recipe Method
- Trim the asparagus at the wooden end with a knife or peeler.
- In a pan, melt 50g of butter and add the asparagus. Cook over a medium heat until a knife can go through the thickest spear with no resistance.
- Lightly season and place onto paper towels to drain.
- On a baking tray, add a cooling rack and lay the parma ham over.
- Place in the oven at 200 until they are crisp.
- Mix the cream and remaining butter in a pan and bring to the boil.
- Reduce until thick, season, then add the chives.
- Serve straight away.
