2019 was another incredible year for the award-winning caterer, Salted Orange Food Co! We worked extremely hard and were awarded a number of prizes throughout the year. It means a lot to be recognised for our outstanding customer service and we are hugely grateful for the votes and comments from our lovely Brides & Grooms. As 2020 begins, we are already on track to be bigger and better than ever and are currently applying for The Wedding Business Awards 2020. Awards are great but nothing means more to us than knowing that our clients are happy and relaxed. The team are incredibly hard-working and are always thrilled to receive thank you messages. A Busy Few Months for this Award-winning Caterer

September 2019

For the second year in a row, we won the Caterer of the Year Award at the Select Lincolnshire Awards. Our application ticked all of the right boxes by showing that we are committed to the growth and local produce in the Lincolnshire area. We offer a fully bespoke catering service and proved that our customer service is second to none! Kiera and Pav were thrilled to accept it on the night, along with a three-course meal!

We then had the joy of winning Best Bespoke Outdoor Catering Company in the Midlands for the Food and Drink Awards. We are very proud of the outdoor catering options we can offer and that we can pop up anywhere! Hog roasts, wood-fired pizza, street food and barbeques are all great outdoor meals or casual evening food for weddings and events.

Later in the month, we sent Pav, Julie and Ollie to The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) where they took home a regional finalist and highly commended award. It sits nicely on our shelf next to the Regional Winner trophy from 2019!

Sam also competed for the Taste of Excellence Chef of the Year Competition and narrowly missed out on being crowned the winner.

This year we also became a finalist for the Food Awards England 2019 and sent Julie and her husband for a fun night out! We are proud of how far we have come and the service we have provided our Brides & Grooms. Already, we have 60 weddings booked for this year and are the preferred caterer for great wedding venues such as Aswarby Rectory in Sleaford and Allington Manor in Grantham. In 2019, we popped up everywhere and had wedding bookings for schools, barns and many marquees! As well as over 50 great weddings and the awards above, we are also proud to have grown the team & fleet, formed great relationships with new venues and published Sam’s recipe book ‘Organised Chaos’. You can read our personal reviews of the year here.
